User Documentation

Linda Lee Bower wrote and produced user manuals the TI-15 and TI-36 calculators, under contract to Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas (1999). These calculators are targeted to the instructional market worldwide and are translated into over a dozen languages.

  • The TI-15 is designed for use at the middle school level; it has functions to work with fractions, and it has a set of electronic flash cards to give the student practice.

  • The TI-36X II is a scientific calculator designed primarily for high school and college students.

The manuals describe the calculator functions and show example problems with keystroking.

She also edited a Teacher Guide that accompanies TI InterActive! -- software that enables math students to create documents containing math objects (2000).
